How to use the CCAO-F course

  • Follow the weighted domains. The exam weights Output Evaluation 21%, Workflow Integration 16%, Governance and Responsible Use 15%, Prompting 14%, Product and Model Selection 12%, Configuration 12% and Troubleshooting 10%. The prep course has a lesson for each.
  • Use Claude while you study. The exam asks which choice fits a work situation. Setting up a Project with instructions and a knowledge source, and running one task on different models, teaches more than watching lessons.
  • Take the recommended courses only for gaps. Claude 101 covers everyday features, AI Fluency covers working with AI responsibly and AI Capabilities and Limitations explains how the models behave. If you already use Projects daily, the prep course alone is enough.
  • Skip the technical courses. Anthropic's API, MCP and Claude Code courses serve the Developer and Architect exams. The Associate guide says no API experience is needed.
