Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) Courses

Validates knowledge of procurement and supply management, including sourcing, negotiation, contracts, supplier relationships, supply chain integration and leadership.

CPSM is three separate exams, so a good course covers Core, Integration and Leadership and lets you study one at a time. We compared the official ISM options on coverage, format, access period and price.

Most people taking all three exams should buy the Learning System bundle, which costs less than buying them one by one. Choose the individual exam Learning Systems to spread the cost, or the Accelerated Program for an instructor and weekly live sessions.

CPSM Learning System, 4th edition

ISM's online study system for all three 4th-edition exams, with a study guide, practice exam and flashcards from the ISM glossary for each, plus a structured study plan and a diagnostic exam. You get 12 months of access.

Poor fit if you want to pay for one exam at a time; choose the individual Learning Systems

One exam at a time

Individual exam Learning Systems, 4th edition

Great fit if you want to spread the cost and study one exam at a time

Poor fit if you will take all three soon; the bundle costs less

Live instruction

Great fit if you want an instructor and a fixed schedule with weekly live sessions

Poor fit if you prefer to study on your own schedule; choose the Learning System bundle

How to choose a CPSM course

  • Buy 4th-edition materials. ISM's 4th-edition exams went on sale in October 2026, and all three options here are written for them.
  • Decide how many exams you will take soon. The bundle gives 12 months of access to all three exams. An individual Learning System gives 6 months for one exam.
  • Plan the hours per exam. Allow about 60 hours for each exam, fewer for the one closest to your daily work. ISM says self-paced learners take 6 to 12 months on average to pass all three.
  • Know the refund rules. Learning System purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, so choose the scope before you buy.

Recommended CPSM course combinations
