FinOps Certified: Technology Value Exam Guide

Validates knowledge of applying the FinOps Framework across public cloud, SaaS, data center and data cloud platforms.

Technology Value tests whether you can use FinOps Scopes and apply FinOps capabilities to public cloud, SaaS, data centres and data cloud platforms. Work through the five modules, spend extra time on the categories you have not managed before, then take the cumulative exam.

Make a study plan

Refresh the FinOps Framework if you need to, then take the Scopes module first and the four category modules after it.

Most candidates spend 20–40 hours. Plan for the low end if you already manage SaaS, data centre or data platform spend; add time for any technology category that is new to you.
