Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Apps and Agents Developer Associate (AI-103) Practice Tests

Validates knowledge of building Azure AI solutions, including generative AI, agents, computer vision, text analysis and information extraction.

AI-103 runs 120 minutes, and Microsoft says most of its exams have 40 to 60 questions. Expect long scenarios about Microsoft Foundry, agents and RAG, with Python code to complete and a case study. We compared the main options on exam-style wording, question volume and price.

Most people should start with Microsoft's free practice assessment (sign-in required) and Tutorials Dojo's free 20-question sampler. Add Tutorials Dojo's full set or MeasureUp's official test for exam-style practice.

Free first look

AI-103 Practice Assessment

Microsoft's official practice questions, now hosted on AI Skills Navigator, where you must sign in to start. Microsoft's separate exam sandbox lets you try the real exam's question screens.

Great fit if you want a free official check of the question style before paying.

Poor fit if you need full-length timed tests; use Tutorials Dojo or MeasureUp.

Free timed sample

FREE AI-103 Azure AI App and Agent Developer Associate Practice Exams - Sampler

Twenty free questions from Tutorials Dojo's AI-103 set, in timed and review modes, so you can judge its wording and difficulty before paying. One candidate scored 50% on it and went back to Microsoft Learn.

Great fit if you want to test Tutorials Dojo's style for free before buying the full set.

Poor fit if you want a full-length run; buy the full set or MeasureUp.

Low-cost exam practice

AI-103 Azure AI App and Agent Developer Associate Practice Exams

Timed, review, section-based and randomized modes, with explanations, reference links and flashcards. It is about one exam's worth of questions, and one passer found it thin on vision, video generation and Python code.

Great fit if you want cheap, exam-style practice with explanations and reference links.

Poor fit if you need volume or code-completion practice; add MeasureUp and the Learn labs.

Official question bank

Microsoft AI-103 Official Practice Test

Microsoft's official practice-test partner, with a timed certification mode and a practice mode where you choose topics. Explanations cover every correct and incorrect option and cite Microsoft docs. Released September 2026.

Great fit if you want the largest official-partner set with referenced explanations for a final check.

Poor fit if you are on a budget; Tutorials Dojo costs $13 and the free sampler shows its style.

Large question bank

AI-103: Azure AI App and Agent Developer - 1000+ Questions

Six tests of about 180 questions each, with explanations, the largest AI-103 bank listed. One passer called the questions okay at best with many repeats; its Udemy rating is 3.7 from 40 reviews.

Great fit if you want sheer volume for extra reps after Tutorials Dojo.

Poor fit if you want exam-style wording from a proven set; use Tutorials Dojo or MeasureUp.

What to look for in a AI-103 practice test

  • Buy sets that name AI-103. AI-103 replaced the retired AI-102 and tests Microsoft Foundry, agents and RAG in Python, not the older Azure AI services. The skills list dates from April 16, 2026, so skip any set that is built around AI-102 topics.
  • Expect long scenarios, code and a case study. Candidates report about 50 standalone questions plus a 7-question case study, with Python SDK code completion, JSON and drag-and-drop items. The last three questions, usually Yes/No, cannot be reviewed once answered.
  • Check coverage of vision and code. Candidates say practice sets are weakest on vision, video generation and Python code. Use the Microsoft Learn labs for those, and treat the sets as the check on service choice.
  • Prefer recent or official sets. By June 2026 the exam was out of beta, and most sets are new. MeasureUp lists a September 2026 release, and Tutorials Dojo's set is the one candidates most often report using.
  • Skip sites selling "real exam questions." Sites promising actual AI-103 questions or a guaranteed pass are selling leaked or copied items. Microsoft's exam policies count brain dumps as cheating and let Microsoft revoke your certifications and bar you from future exams. A real practice test explains why each answer is right; a dump only lists answers.

How to use AI-103 practice tests

  • Take the free sets first. Do Microsoft's assessment and Tutorials Dojo's 20-question sampler cold. One candidate scored 50% on the sampler, then went back through Learn before buying the full set.
  • Log misses by skill area. Tag each miss as plan and manage, generative AI and agents (30 to 35% of the exam), vision, text analysis or information extraction, and fix the weakest area first.
  • Rehearse the no-going-back questions. Practice sets let you move back and forth, but the exam's final Yes/No block does not. Answer each one before moving on.
  • Practise searching Microsoft Learn. Learn is open during the exam and candidates used it for Python SDK syntax, Document Intelligence models and search settings. Search it on a second screen during practice runs, but keep it brief.
  • Rotate sets and study every miss. Large banks include repeats, so stop and understand the logic behind a miss before you see the question again.

AI-103 practice test FAQ

Are there free AI-103 practice tests?

Yes. Microsoft offers a free practice assessment on AI Skills Navigator (sign-in required) and Tutorials Dojo gives away a 20-question sampler. Microsoft's exam sandbox shows how the real exam screens work.

Are AI-103 practice tests harder than the real exam?

Reports are thin because the exam is new. Candidates call Tutorials Dojo close to the real exam, and one who scored 50% on its sampler passed with 830 after studying. Candidates say the exam's Python and vision questions are the hardest to practise for.

How many AI-103 practice tests should I take?

There is no official number. Tutorials Dojo's set is about one exam's worth, so most candidates combine it with Microsoft's assessment or a larger bank and review every miss.

Do AI-103 practice tests include case studies and code questions?

Candidates say Tutorials Dojo's set has a case study close to the real one. They also say no set covers the exam's Python code and vision questions well, so use the Microsoft Learn labs to practise those.
