Take all five Anthropic lessons; they are free and cover every exam domain group. Start with Claude Platform & Solution Design, the longest, and Enterprise Integration & Production, which matches the largest domain. Add Building with the Claude API if you have not built with Claude.

The exam includes updated content from December 7, 2026. Updated exam guides are published November 17, 2026, so use the updated guide if you test on or after December 7. Source ↗

Solution design

Claude Platform & Solution Design

Anthropic's longest official lesson, at 238 minutes, on turning business problems into Claude solution architectures. It covers the design decisions and model choices behind a solution and is part of the official CCAR-P prep path.

Great fit if you want official coverage of solution design and model choices

Poor fit if you only need integration or governance review; choose Enterprise Integration & Production or Responsible AI

Largest exam domain

Enterprise Integration & Production

A 158-minute official lesson on moving a Claude solution from proof of concept to enterprise production. It matches Integration, the largest exam domain at 19%.

Great fit if you want official coverage of the Integration domain

Poor fit if you already run Claude integrations in production; start with Claude Platform & Solution Design

Safety and governance

Responsible AI, Safety & Risk for Architects

A 114-minute official lesson on designing the safety stack for a Claude system, including guardrails and where to place controls. It covers the governance and risk side of the exam.

Great fit if you want official coverage of governance and risk

Poor fit if you already lead AI governance work; start with Enterprise Integration & Production

Client and executive skills

Stakeholder Engagement, Lifecycle & GTM

A 178-minute official lesson on the stakeholder conversations and lifecycle steps that decide whether a working system ships. It suits engineers who spend less time in client and executive discussions.

Great fit if you are an engineer less used to client and executive discussions

Poor fit if you already run discovery and stakeholder work daily; start with Claude Platform & Solution Design

Shortest lesson

Team Enablement & Operational Productivity

A 45-minute official lesson on helping teams adopt and run a live Claude system without depending on you. It covers the smallest exam domain, so it is the quickest to finish.

Great fit if you want to cover the smallest domain quickly

Poor fit if you are short on time and strong elsewhere; spend it on Enterprise Integration & Production

Hands-on API base

Building with the Claude API

Anthropic's technical API course, with 84 lectures and 10 quizzes on prompting, tool use, evaluations, RAG and agents. Anthropic lists it as the deeper dive for this exam.

Great fit if you have not built with the Claude API and want the hands-on base the five lessons assume

Poor fit if you already build Claude systems in production; go straight to the five lessons

How to choose a CCAR-P course

  • Cover every domain group. The five Anthropic lessons span design, integration, governance, stakeholders and enablement. Skip one only if you do that work daily.
  • Check your hands-on base. The exam asks scenario questions about production Claude systems. If you have not built with the Claude API, take Building with the Claude API (8.1 hours) first.
  • Weight your time by the exam. Integration is the largest domain at 19%, and the Team Enablement lesson covers the smallest. Spend your hours accordingly.
  • Know who can sit the exam. Only people at Claude Partner Network organizations can register, and the exam costs $175. The lessons themselves are free.

Recommended CCAR-P course combinations

  • Lowest cost: All five Anthropic lessons, the free sample questions in the CCAR-P Exam Guide, and the free practice exams from Szymon Paluch and CertSafari.
  • Not yet built with Claude: Building with the Claude API first, then the five lessons, with Muhammad Junaid's free Claude Architect Guide CCAR-P practice questions.
  • Short on time: Claude Platform & Solution Design and Enterprise Integration & Production (about 6.6 hours together), then the free sample questions.
  • Final check: Tutorials Dojo's CCAR-P practice exams ($11.24 sale, $15 list) after you finish the lessons.
