How to choose a DP-600 course

  • Match the October 19 update. The English exam uses an updated skills list from October 19, 2026, with only minor wording changes under Query and analyze data. Both courses here are current for it.
  • Build in Fabric, not only on video. The exam asks you to configure lakehouses, warehouses and semantic models. Do the exercises in a Fabric trial or capacity, whichever course you take.
  • Practise SQL, KQL and DAX. You query data in all three languages. Prepare data is the largest skill area at 45 to 50 percent, so spend most of your hands-on time there.
  • Give security and Direct Lake real time. Security and governance sit in the 25 to 30 percent maintenance area, and semantic model design with Direct Lake is a major topic. Skim them and you lose easy marks.
