Google Cloud Generative AI Leader Practice Tests

Validates knowledge of generative AI concepts, Google Cloud generative AI offerings, improving model output and leading responsible adoption.

Generative AI Leader is 50 to 60 multiple-choice questions in 90 minutes. It is a business-level exam asking which gen AI approach or Google Cloud product fits a company's situation. We compared the main options on question style, question volume and price.

Start with Google's free 25 questions and Tutorials Dojo's free sampler, then add one inexpensive full-length set.

Free first look

Generative AI Leader sample questions

Twenty-five questions in Google's own style, untimed and repeatable as often as you like, written for the version of the exam that launched May 14, 2025. Closing the form mid-attempt loses your progress.

Great fit if you want to see Google's question style and product names before spending anything.

Poor fit if you need a timed full run or more volume; use Tutorials Dojo or the Udemy exams.

Free timed sampler

FREE Generative AI Leader Practice Exams Sampler

A free 30-question slice of the Tutorials Dojo bank, one timed quiz and one review-mode quiz, with a flashcard section. It lets you test the style before paying for the full set.

Great fit if you want a free timed set to compare with Google's untimed sample.

Poor fit if you need volume or the four exam sections drilled separately; use the paid Tutorials Dojo set.

Section drills

Google Cloud Certified Generative AI Leader Practice Exams

Four timed and four review quizzes, a randomized 60-question test and one section quiz for each of the four exam sections. The one reviewer who passed says it lacks scenario questions on prompting, business cases and product selection.

Great fit if you want a cheap set that drills each exam section separately.

Poor fit if you want long business-case scenarios; add the Udemy exams.

Timed full exams

Google Cloud Certified Generative AI Leader [Exams 2026]

Six 60-question exams with explanations, updated June 2026. Its description still lists PaLM and Generative AI Studio, so some wording may use older product names. Rated 4.6 from 32 ratings.

Great fit if you want the most timed practice questions for the lowest one-time price.

Poor fit if you want certainty that every question uses the 2026 product names; check the sample questions against Google's.

Course plus exams

Generative AI Leader Certification Course

A 57-lesson video course with four 50-question practice exams that include explanations, plus a timed 90-minute simulator of 50 random questions. It comes bundled in a membership that covers every course.

Great fit if you want a course and practice exams together and may add another Google Cloud exam.

Poor fit if you only need practice questions for this $99 exam; the $15 and $20 sets cost far less.

What to look for in a Google Cloud Generative AI Leader practice test

  • Look for business scenarios, not definitions. The exam is 50 to 60 multiple-choice questions in 90 minutes. A July 2026 passer describes paragraph-long company situations where you pick the approach that meets every stated requirement, so choose sets with scenario questions and explained distractors.
  • Make sure it drills Google's products. The Google Cloud gen AI offerings section is about 35% of the exam, and one commenter who failed said they took it lightly. A good set covers Gemini Enterprise, Agent Platform, Model Garden and Agent Search.
  • Check the product names. The 2026 guide uses Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform where older material says Vertex AI, and Google's sample uses the new names. Sets whose descriptions still name PaLM or Generative AI Studio may carry older wording.
  • Match the spend to the exam. This is a foundational $99 exam that recent passers call easy, so one low-cost set plus the free samples is usually enough. A $39/month membership only makes sense if you also want its course.
  • Skip sites selling "real exam questions." Sites promising actual Generative AI Leader questions or a guaranteed pass are selling leaked or copied items. Google Cloud's exam terms ban using exam content found online and let Google revoke any or all of your certifications and bar you from the program. A real practice test explains why each answer is right; a dump only lists answers.

How to use Google Cloud Generative AI Leader practice tests

  • Start with Google's 25 questions. They are untimed and repeatable, but Google says they do not represent the exam's range or difficulty, so use them as a format check.
  • Learn from Google's free path first. A June 2025 passer said the free Google Skills course was close to word-for-word on the exam, so do the course before buying a bank.
  • Track misses by the four sections. The sections carry about 30%, 35%, 20% and 15%, so a miss in Google Cloud's offerings costs more study time than one in business strategy.
  • Practise ruling options out. Questions bundle requirements such as private data, source citations or offline use. Underline them and cross off options that break one, rather than going for the buzzword answer.
  • Take one timed set before the exam. Run 50 or more questions in 90 minutes and review each explanation. One or two sets are enough, and there is no value in retaking a set you remember.
