Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect (PCA) Practice Tests

Validates knowledge of designing, securing, provisioning and optimizing cloud solutions on Google Cloud against business and technical requirements.

Professional Cloud Architect is 50 to 60 multiple-choice and multiple-select questions in 2 hours. They are long business scenarios where you pick the best design for stated requirements, and 20 to 30% refer to two of four published case studies. We compared the main options on question style, case-study practice and price.

Start with Google's free sample and Tutorials Dojo's free 30 questions for the format, then use a bank written for the current case studies.

Free first look

Professional Cloud Architect sample questions

Nineteen questions in Google's own style, three of them multiple-select. Six of its ten case-study questions use cases Google has since retired (Mountkirk Games, Helicopter Racing League, TerramEarth), so it shows the format, not today's scenarios.

Great fit if you want to see Google's question style before spending anything.

Poor fit if you need the current case studies or a timed full run; use the Udemy exams or GCP Study Hub.

Free timed sampler

Free Professional Cloud Architect Practice Exams Sampler

A free 30-question slice of the Tutorials Dojo bank, with one timed quiz, one review-mode quiz and two flashcard sets. It lets you judge their question style before you pay for the full set.

Great fit if you want a free timed set to check your pacing and compare Tutorials Dojo with the other banks.

Poor fit if you want to practise the four current case studies; the page does not name them.

Course plus exams

Professional Cloud Architect Certification Course

A video course with labs and eight full-length practice exams with explanations, plus a timed 60-question simulator. Recent Reddit threads recommend it often, though one passer calls it shallow.

Great fit if you want a current course, labs and full practice exams under one subscription.

Poor fit if you only want questions; Tutorials Dojo's bank costs $15.

Timed full exams

Google Professional Cloud Architect - PCA [Exams 2026]

Six 70-question timed exams with explanations, updated August 2026 and written around the four current case studies. It is rated 4.1 from 875 ratings.

Great fit if you want many long timed scenario questions on the current case studies at a low one-time price.

Poor fit if you want lessons or labs with the questions; use GCP Study Hub.

Low-cost bank

Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect Practice Exams

Four timed and four review quizzes, six section quizzes, a randomized 50-question test and flashcards. Candidate opinion is split: one 2026 passer says it matches the real questions very closely, another found it outdated.

Great fit if you want a cheap bank with section drills and flashcards to add to a main course.

Poor fit if you want questions built for the October 2025 AI and case-study changes; use the Udemy exams.

Case study practice

Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect Practice Tests

Four 50-question tests, a 55-question final test, section tests and a free 20-question test, with case-study-style questions. A January 2026 passer found its scenario logic decent; a 2022 passer rated it below Tutorials Dojo but still useful.

Great fit if you want extra scenario questions and section tests at a low price after a main bank.

Poor fit if you want certainty that it follows the October 2025 case studies; use the Udemy exams.

What to look for in a PCA practice test

  • Match the current case studies. The exam guide names four case studies (Altostrat Media, Cymbal Retail, EHR Healthcare and KnightMotives Automotive), and each exam uses two, making up 20 to 30% of the questions. Google's own sample and older banks still use retired ones such as Mountkirk Games, so check which cases a product covers.
  • Expect long scenarios, not recall. The exam is 50 to 60 multiple-choice and multiple-select questions in 2 hours, with no labs or simulations. Passers in 2026 describe paragraph-long questions and answers, so choose banks that explain why each wrong option fails.
  • Look for the newer AI and design material. The current guide adds Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Model Garden, Model Armor and the Well-Architected Framework. A bank built on older content will miss these topics.
  • Weigh volume against freshness. Udemy's 420-question set and GCP Study Hub's eight exams give plenty of fresh questions, while Tutorials Dojo's 120+ is cheapest but gets mixed reports on how current it is.
  • Treat free samples as a format check only. Google says its sample score does not predict your result, and candidates say real questions run longer than most practice questions.
  • Skip sites selling "real exam questions." Sites promising actual Professional Cloud Architect questions or a guaranteed pass are selling leaked or copied items. Google Cloud's exam terms ban using exam content found online and let Google revoke any or all of your certifications and bar you from the program. A real practice test explains why each answer is right; a dump only lists answers.

How to use PCA practice tests

  • Read the four case studies first. Think through the services each would need before you take a case-study question, because 7 to 8 questions per case is typical.
  • Start with a free sample as a diagnostic. Take Google's sample or Tutorials Dojo's sampler before heavy study, and note which sections you guess on.
  • Explain every wrong option. Most answers are workable designs, so write down which requirement rules each option out. This is the skill the exam rewards.
  • Track misses by the six sections. Section 1 carries 25% of the exam and Sections 2 and 3 carry 17.5% each. Revisit the weakest one in Google's docs or labs.
  • Finish with timed, full-length runs. Practise 50 to 60 questions in 2 hours, reading each long option carefully, and avoid memorising a set you will see again.

PCA practice test FAQ

Are there free Professional Cloud Architect practice tests?

Yes. Google publishes a free 19-question sample form that asks for your name, email and organization, and Tutorials Dojo has a free 30-question sampler that needs a login. Many of Google's case-study questions use retired cases, so treat it as a format check.

How many questions are on the Professional Cloud Architect exam?

The exam has 50 to 60 multiple-choice and multiple-select questions in 2 hours. Two of the four published case studies appear in each sitting.

Are PCA practice tests harder than the real exam?

Candidates usually say the real questions are longer and more detailed than most practice questions, so a good score on a short bank can overstate readiness. Read every option carefully in timed runs.

Does the PCA exam have labs?

No. It has only multiple-choice and multiple-select questions, some tied to a case study. Hands-on labs help you learn the services but are not part of the exam.
