SnowPro Core (COF-C03) Practice Tests

Validates foundational knowledge of Snowflake architecture, security and governance, data loading, query performance and transformation, and data sharing.

SnowPro Core (COF-C03) has 100 questions in 115 minutes, many of them multiple-select with near-identical options. We compared the main options on question style, explanations and price.

Snowflake offers no free practice test, so most people should work through a large explained bank such as Tom Bailey's 500 Udemy questions, then take Snowflake's $50 practice exam close to their exam date to see the official wording.

Large explained bank

5 Practice Exams for COF-C03 Snowflake Core Certification

Five timed 100-question exams that match the real exam's length, with explanations for every answer, diagrams and links to Snowflake's documentation. Updated for COF-C03 topics such as Iceberg tables and Cortex.

Great fit if you want a large bank that explains every answer and links to the documentation, so you can learn from your misses.

Poor fit if you want the real exam's trickier wording; candidates say the real questions are more ambiguous, so add the official practice exam.

Official wording check

SnowPro Practice Exam: Core

Snowflake's own practice exam, built to the real exam's domains and weightings, with 30 to 40 questions drawn from a pool and a 65-minute limit. You get a score by section, not the questions or answers back.

Great fit if you want to see Snowflake's own question wording close to your exam date.

Poor fit if you want to learn from your mistakes; it shows only section scores and cannot be retaken after you submit (see Tom Bailey).

What to look for in a SnowPro Core practice test

  • Built for COF-C03. SnowPro Core COF-C03 has been the live exam since February 16, 2026, with five domains and new topics such as Cortex AI and Iceberg tables. Many question banks still carry COF-C02 content, so check the listing names COF-C03 and a recent update date.
  • Multiple-select and near-identical options. The exam has 100 questions in 115 minutes, and multiple-select questions need every correct option. Candidates describe many options that look almost correct, so choose a bank that explains why each wrong option fails.
  • Explanations that link to documentation. Snowflake's documentation is the source of most answers, so questions that link to it let you check each miss. Snowflake's own practice exam gives section scores only, with no answers or explanations.
  • Full-length timed runs. The real exam has 100 questions, as in Tom Bailey's five 100-question tests. Snowflake's official practice exam has only 30 to 40, so it previews wording rather than building endurance.
  • Official versus unofficial. Snowflake sells one official practice exam and has no free sample. Everything else is third-party, so judge a set by its COF-C03 update date and explanations, and avoid leaked-question sites.
  • Skip sites selling "real exam questions." Sites promising actual COF-C03 questions or a guaranteed pass are selling leaked or copied items. Snowflake's exam terms ban using unauthorised exam materials and let Snowflake cancel your results and bar you from future exams. A real practice test explains why each answer is right; a dump only lists answers.

How to use SnowPro Core practice tests

  • Learn first, then practise. Candidates who passed say video courses on their own are not enough. Work through the study guide, documentation and a free trial account, then use practice exams to find gaps.
  • Review every miss. Several passers took each wrong answer back to the documentation or an AI assistant to understand why the other options were wrong.
  • Do not panic at a low official score. One passer scored 62.5% on Snowflake's practice exam and said colleagues rarely topped 70%. Treat it as a view of the wording and your weak domains, not a pass or fail signal.
  • Practise eliminating answers. One passer said about 70% of the exam came down to cross-elimination using the architecture. Flag hard questions, finish a first pass, then return to them.
  • Use more than one bank, once each. An October 2025 passer who took several Udemy sets says questions they had not seen in one set later showed up on the exam. Move on to new sets instead of repeating the same one.

SnowPro Core practice test FAQ

Is there a free SnowPro Core practice test?

Snowflake has no free official practice test; its practice exam costs $50. Independent sites offer free question sets, but none is tied to Snowflake's exam wording, so a paid explained set is the safer practice.

Is Snowflake's official practice exam harder than the real exam?

One passer scored 62.5% on it against 75-81% on Tom Bailey's tests, and said colleagues rarely top 70%. Others call it a useful preview of the wording but not essential.

How many SnowPro Core practice exams should I take?

There is no set number. Two or three full 100-question exams from different authors, each fully reviewed, plus Snowflake's official practice exam near the end is a sensible target.

What do SnowPro Core questions look like?

Single-answer and multiple-select questions on architecture, security, loading, performance and sharing, often with several plausible options. A few are plain SQL syntax questions, and some scenarios turn on small details.
