Cisco Certified Network Professional Enterprise (CCNP Enterprise) Practice Tests

Validates knowledge of enterprise network architecture, virtualization, infrastructure, assurance, security and automation for designing and troubleshooting networks.

ENCOR 350-401 (v1.2 since March 19, 2026) is a 120-minute exam of performance-based lab tasks, multiple choice and drag-and-drop; Cisco publishes no question count. Candidates report about six simulated tasks and heavy automation and SD-WAN content. We compared the main options on simulator realism, question volume and price.

Most people should start with Cisco's Exam Review to find weak domains, add the Cert Guide's Pearson exams or Boson for volume and pacing, and practise for their concentration exam separately.

Cisco Exam Review: ENCOR

Cisco's own ENCOR practice exam on Cisco U., organised by the six v1.2 domains and updated in July 2026. Candidates say it includes lab items, and you can retake it until access ends.

Great fit if you want Cisco-written questions and lab-style practice for the current exam.

Poor fit if you want a large bank for repeated timed runs; add Boson or the Cert Guide's Pearson exams.

Book question bank

CCNP and CCIE Enterprise Core ENCOR 350-401 Official Cert Guide, Premium Edition

Four full practice exams and the chapter quizzes in Pearson Test Prep, with timed and topic-by-topic modes and links back to the book. Several candidates say the question style is close to the real exam.

Great fit if you are studying from the Cert Guide and want exam-style multiple choice mapped to chapters.

Poor fit if you want lab items or questions rewritten for v1.2 without wireless; use Cisco Exam Review or Boson.

Timed full exams

ExSim-Max for Cisco 350-401 ENCOR

Six full-length exams with explanations that link to Cisco documents, a timed simulation mode and performance reports. Some candidates call the questions broader than the blueprint; others say it built their pacing.

Great fit if you want timed full-length runs and detailed explanations, and will skip questions that stray off the exam topics.

Poor fit if you want a bank tightly focused on ENCOR's automation questions; pair it with Cisco Exam Review.

Budget v1.2 exams

Cisco ENCOR 350-401 Practice Exams: CCNP & CCIE Enterprise

Three timed practice exams of about 100 questions each, plus 12 harder "super challenge" questions, written for the v1.2 blueprint by a CCIE instructor.

Great fit if you want a cheap extra set written for v1.2 after Cisco's exam or the Cert Guide.

Poor fit if you want lab-style items; use Cisco Exam Review.

Study on your phone

Pocket Prep Cisco CCNP Enterprise (ENCOR)

Short quiz sessions with explanations across the six ENCOR subjects, plus weak-subject drills and a mock exam mode, on the web and in the mobile app.

Great fit if you study in short sessions on your phone and want weak-subject tracking.

Poor fit if you want lab items or deep lab practice; use Cisco Exam Review.

What to look for in a CCNP Enterprise practice test

  • Match the bank to ENCOR v1.2. Since March 19, 2026 ENCOR has no wireless section and weights six domains: architecture 15%, virtualization 10%, infrastructure 30%, assurance 10%, security 20% and automation and AI 15%. The Cert Guide's exams date from October 2023; a candidate passed v1.2 on Boson's older content, and Boson says an update is coming.
  • Look for lab practice. Passers report about six simulated lab tasks plus 54 to 60 other questions, and the labs cover anything the blueprint says to "configure". Candidates say Cisco Exam Review prepares you for them; Pearson has no labs, and Boson sells NetSim separately for configuration practice.
  • Check automation and SDN coverage. Recent passers and failers describe multiple choice heavy on Python and JSON scripts, REST APIs, Catalyst Center, SD-WAN and security. One v1.2 passer said Boson's questions underweight this, so confirm your bank has scripts to read.
  • Expect banks to differ from the exam. Candidates say Pearson's style is closest to the real exam, Boson explains well but includes off-blueprint topics, and Cisco's questions can go into obscure product detail. Combining two sources works better than repeating one.
  • Skip sites selling "real exam questions." Sites promising actual ENCOR questions or a guaranteed pass are selling leaked or copied items. Cisco's certification agreement bans preparing with compromised exam content, and penalties go up to a lifetime exam ban and loss of all your Cisco certifications. A real practice test explains why each answer is right; a dump only lists answers.

How to use CCNP Enterprise practice tests

  • Start with a diagnostic. Take a Cisco Exam Review attempt or Pocket Prep's 30 free questions early and note which of the six domains you miss. Infrastructure is the largest at 30%, but automation is where candidates report most surprises.
  • Review every miss against Cisco documents. Boson links explanations to white papers, and the Cert Guide links questions to chapters. Read the source until you can explain why the other options fail.
  • Give automation its own pass. Practise reading Python, JSON and REST responses and know the NETCONF, RESTCONF and Catalyst Center basics. Candidates who lost marks here said their study material went far shallower than the exam.
  • Rebuild every "configure" objective in a lab. Use Cisco Modeling Labs, EVE-NG or GNS3 to configure and troubleshoot each infrastructure topic. One v1.2 passer called the exam labs easy and another failed after finding them less in depth than Boson's, so lab speed matters more than lab difficulty.
  • Save timed full runs for the end. Do them full-screen for 120 minutes and review each one as long as you took it. A passer's advice was not to retake exams until you remember the answers; learn the topics, not the questions.

CCNP Enterprise practice test FAQ

Are there free ENCOR practice tests?

Not from Cisco; its official Exam Review costs $79. Pocket Prep gives 30 free ENCOR questions.

Is Boson ENCOR harder than the real exam?

Candidates are split. One scored 60 to 70% on Boson and still passed first time, others say it covers topics the exam never asks, and a v1.2 passer used it mainly for pacing. Treat low scores as a topic list, not a verdict.

Do ENCOR practice exams include lab questions?

Most are multiple choice only. Candidates say Cisco Exam Review includes lab items; for configuration practice itself, use a lab tool such as Cisco Modeling Labs, EVE-NG, GNS3 or Boson NetSim.

Do I need a separate practice test for the concentration exam?

Yes, ENCOR practice does not cover it. Cisco sells a Cisco Exam Review for ENARSI at $79, and candidates also use the Pearson exams that come with the ENARSI Cert Guide.
