UX Roadmaps
Example scenario: A product manager wants to skip research to hit a deadline. How would you make the case for a small study?
Multiple choice. Choose the best answer from four options, usually for a short real-world situation from the course.
CertUp example
Five of six participants in a usability test miss the new filter button on a product list page. What is the best next step?
Make the button more noticeable and test the change with new participants
Ignore the result because six participants is too few
Add a tooltip and release without further testing
Send a survey asking whether people like filters
Show answer
Make the button more noticeable and test the change with new participants. A problem that most participants share is a clear usability issue, and a follow-up test shows whether the fix works.

Requirements for each exam
Attend each live course in full
Required
Only people who attended an entire live online course can take its exam. Take the exam within 35 days of the course.
Book a live course, attend all of it, then take its exam from your NN/g account within 35 days.
Choose your 5 courses first, ideally around one specialty or your biggest skill gaps. The live courses set most of the time.
Most candidates spend 40–60 hours. Plan for the low end if you take each exam right after its course; plan for the high end if you review your notes before each exam or are new to UX.
