NN/g UX Certification (UXC) Practice Tests

Validates knowledge of user experience practice, including research, interaction design, management and AI applications.

Each NN/g UX Certification exam is 30 questions in one hour, taken online and unproctored with your course materials and notes open. The questions are scenarios on the one live course you attended.

There is no practice-test market for NN/g UX Certification. NN/g publishes two free example questions, so read them first. Your best preparation is good notes in class and taking the exam within a day or two of the course.

NN/g Exam Example Questions

Two multiple-choice examples, one from an AI course and one from a stakeholder course, show the scenario style: pick the best next step. NN/g sells no practice exam.

Great fit if you want to see the question style before your first exam.

Poor fit if you want a full practice exam; NN/g offers none, so review your course slides and notes.

What to look for in a UXC practice test

  • Practice means your own course. Each exam covers only what was taught in its live course, usually found in the slides, and NN/g says you need no outside books. That is why there is nothing to buy: a question bank for one course cannot cover another.
  • Know the format. Each exam is 30 questions in one hour, online and unproctored, with three attempts and 80% or higher needed. You save and resume if you need a break.
  • Expect applied scenarios. NN/g says the exams test theory and practical application to real-world examples. The published samples ask what you would do next in an AI-analysis or stakeholder situation, not for a definition.
  • Use the feedback after a miss. After each failed attempt NN/g lists the topics to study, and after three failures you can repeat the course at a reduced price and buy another attempt.
  • Skip sites selling "real exam questions." Sites promising actual NN/g UX Certification questions or a guaranteed pass are selling leaked or copied items, not practice. Use products that write their own questions and explain every answer, so you learn the reasoning the exam tests.

How to use UXC practice tests

  • Take notes during the course. NN/g calls paying attention and taking notes the best preparation. The exam is open to course materials and your notes, so organise them by topic as you go.
  • Sit the exam soon after the course. Many people take it the evening of the course or the next day. You have 35 days, and one paid extension is available within that period.
  • Do not plan to look everything up. You may use course materials and your notes but not other people or other sources, and you have one hour for 30 questions. Use the notes to confirm answers, not to find them.
  • Time each exam to its course. The 35-day window runs separately for each of the five courses, so book exam time right after each one instead of stacking them.
