PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Practice Tests

Validates knowledge of agile mindset, leadership, product and delivery practices across Scrum, Kanban, Lean and hybrid approaches.

PMI-ACP is 120 questions in 3 hours: multiple choice, multiple response, drag-and-drop and exhibit items. Questions are long situational scenarios where two or three answers look right, and many come with a burn chart, iteration table or backlog to read. We compared the main options on question style, difficulty, volume and price.

Most people should start with iZenBridge's free full-length test to find their weak domain, then use a harder bank for volume. PMI Study Hall is a cheap official diagnostic, but candidates find it easier than the real exam.

Free PMI-ACP Mock Test

A full-length 120-question test and a 30-question short test, with a YouTube video explaining each question. Passing candidates used the videos as a free first look at ACP-style scenarios.

Great fit if you want a free full-length pass to find your weak domain before you pay for anything.

Poor fit if you want fresh questions and results tracking after the first run; PMI-ACP Study Mate has 900+ questions and five full mocks.

Free video questions

120 Agile PMI-ACP or PMP Questions

He reads 120 agile scenario questions aloud and explains each answer, published in six parts of 20 questions each.

Great fit if you want more free agile scenario practice and like hearing the reasoning behind each answer.

Poor fit if you want a scored, timed exam with results by domain; use PMI-ACP Study Mate or PMI Study Hall for that.

Timed full mocks

PMI-ACP Study Mate

A practice app with 900+ questions, five full-length 120-question mocks, domain and task quizzes, flashcards and 150 video walk-throughs. Passing candidates describe its mocks as close to the exam's style.

Great fit if you want the most question volume for the price and several full timed runs.

Poor fit if you want PMI-written wording; pair it with PMI Study Hall.

Official diagnostic

PMI Study Hall for PMI-ACP

PMI's question bank with one 120-question exam, three 10-question mini exams and 50 extra questions, plus lessons, videos and flashcards. Most candidates find its questions easier and shorter than the real exam.

Great fit if you want PMI's wording and one timed exam as a cheap first diagnostic.

Poor fit if you want it as your only bank; it has a single full exam and runs easier than the real exam (see PMI-ACP Study Mate).

Tough official exam

PMI-ACP Practice Exam

One official exam of 120+ questions with a score summary after each attempt. Candidates call it wordier and harder than Study Hall, and are split on whether it matches the real exam.

Great fit if you want PMI's harder exam as a stress test late in your preparation.

Poor fit if you need many questions to practise on; it is a single exam, and some candidates report repeated items.

Video explanations

TIA PMI-ACP Exam Simulator

Four 120-question mock exams, each with a video of Andrew Ramdayal explaining every answer, about 10 hours in all.

Great fit if you learn well from video explanations and want another set of full mocks.

Poor fit if you want PMI-written wording; pair it with PMI Study Hall.

Second question bank

PMI-ACP Practice Exams

A browser simulator from a PMI Authorized Training Partner with full-length mock exams, quizzes and progress analytics. One candidate who passed called its mocks close to the real exam. A free demo is available.

Great fit if you want a second large bank with analytics and a free demo before paying.

What to look for in a PMI-ACP practice test

  • Built for the November 2024 outline. The exam is 120 questions (100 scored, 20 unscored) in three hours with one break after question 60, weighted Mindset 28%, Leadership 25%, Product 19% and Delivery 28%. Banks written for the pre-2024 outline use different domains, so look for those four domain names on the product page.
  • Chart, table and backlog questions. Candidates report sets of five to seven questions that share one burn chart, iteration table or risk table, plus velocity and MVP calculations. Pick a bank with exhibit-based items; plain definition questions will not prepare you for them.
  • Several answers that sound right. Most questions are situational and two or three options look correct, so the skill is choosing the best one. Prefer a product that explains why each wrong option is wrong, not only the key.
  • Volume beyond one exam. PMI's practice exam is a single test and Study Hall has one full exam, so plan on a third-party bank for two or three more timed runs. Third-party banks run from 480 to 1,000+ questions.
  • Realistic difficulty. Candidates describe Study Hall as much easier than the real exam and PMI's $99 exam as harder and odder, so judge readiness across more than one bank rather than from a single score.
  • Skip sites selling "real exam questions." Sites promising actual PMI-ACP questions or a guaranteed pass are selling leaked or copied items. Before the exam you confirm to PMI that you have seen none of its questions, and PMI can cancel your score, revoke your certifications and ban you from its exams. A real practice test explains why each answer is right; a dump only lists answers.

How to use PMI-ACP practice tests

  • Start with a free diagnostic. Take the free iZenBridge full-length test before you review anything, so your study time goes to the domain where you miss most.
  • Review every explanation, including lucky guesses. With two good-looking options per question, write down why the one you chose was worse, not only why the key is right.
  • Track Mindset, Leadership, Product and Delivery separately. Mindset and Delivery are 28% each, and a strong domain can hide a weak one in a single overall score.
  • Practise exhibits and pacing late. The exam allows about 90 seconds a question, but chart questions can take three to four minutes. Do one full 180-minute run near your exam date, and note that candidates say the clock does not warn you when the first 60 questions run long.
  • Compare scores within one product, and do not memorise repeats. One candidate who passed scored about 88% on Study Hall and about 55% on PMI's exam. Judge progress by your trend inside each product, and move to fresh questions once you remember a mock.

PMI-ACP practice test FAQ

Are there free PMI-ACP practice tests?

Yes. iZenBridge offers a free 120-question full-length test and a 30-question short test with video explanations, and Andrew Ramdayal's 120 agile questions are free on YouTube. PMI sells its ACP practice products and has no free question set.

Is PMI Study Hall enough for the PMI-ACP?

Most candidates say no. Unlike PMP Study Hall, the ACP version has one full exam and runs easier than the real exam, so passing candidates add a harder bank such as PMI-ACP Study Mate or PMI's own practice exam.

How many PMI-ACP practice exams should I take?

Two or three full 120-question exams on questions you have not seen, each followed by a thorough review, is a sensible target for most people. Domain quizzes are better than repeating a mock you remember.

What question types are on the PMI-ACP exam?

PMI lists multiple choice, multiple response, drag-and-drop style items and exhibits such as charts and tables. Most are situational scenarios, and 20 of the 120 items are unscored pretest questions.
