Most valued in AppSec and government software roles
One commenter sees CSSLP mainly in US government and military software roles; another calls it one of the most requested credentials for application security roles that do not involve penetration testing.
Not a way into security without development experience
When a QA lead asked whether CSSLP would help them pivot into software security, the top reply recommended building software engineering experience first.
